wireguard vpn director multiple tunnels

hi all,
i tried searching the forum and wasn't able to locate anything.
i have an rt-ax88u. i understand that i can run up to five simultaneous wireguard instances, and can use the director to specify that local ips can be directed to use a spcific instance. what i would like to do is have a local ip, 192.168.1.0/24, choose one of the five on a random basis. i want to do this because with just one instance, it's always the same vpn ip and sometimes it is under a heavy load.
with ovpn, this could be done by supplying a list of different vpn ips with a remote-random in the custom configuration (or that's how i understand it. maybe i have that wrong). is there a way to do this or something similar with wireguard?

There are no such option in the gui.

oh, this will be interesting. I was just reading through it and noticed that proton VPN's setup is different. I will have to read though it more in depth, and also look at some different proton config files.

I finally got around to looking at things further. I see the situation with proton and their pulling access to the API server listing, and the difficulties this caused with vpnmon.
I wrote their support from my account and asked them why they did this, and that other vpn providers make their server list available...so why don't they. i was polite, but I said I was baffled.
i see that there is some possible working solutions for proton and vpnmon, but it is more than I want to engage in, at this time.
I am not holding my breath that proton is going to change anything, but I did see there was an effort put forth for people to contact them. I didn't use that effort, but opted to write them directly.

The only workaround at the moment is to just pull IP addresses from their config files and make a manual list. Its a pain, but it works for the interim until Proton gets their act together. This issue has gotten 80+ upvotes, so it's doing well being heard.

Doesn't make sense. They can put a $12/hr lackey to work pulling all these IP addresses from their config files, and it would have the same result. One way or another, a "potential censuring country" is going to do what they're going to do, no matter what methods they have at their disposal.

Killing API access like this just ruins it for everyone else.
