I am running the same firmware as you and I couldn't be happier. Don't give into temptation! Also, .271 isn't available on the Asus website anymore and people have reported .271 to perform slightly better than .276. Unless you are saving the firmware updates, you will never get .271 again. I am also running 1.0.1.8f on my EA-N66 that is not available anymore. I am steering clear of any .37X firmware updates. Not worth the risk, especially if everything is working fine for you at this point in time.

The problem with staying on .2xx branch is the security vulnerabilities. Check the Asus firmware update site for change log details.

The security vulnerabilities may or may not be relevant to you, but forum members should at least be aware of it.
