WRT1900ACS(v2?)

Hi there!

I've been trying to figure out which of the 4 antennas are for what band, but so far googling hasn't been very successful.

Does anyone know which antennas are used for which band? Moving around my antennas seems really effective for a little bit of extra reception on certain spots, but I use 2.4 and 5Ghz on different locations depending on which part of the house I'm located

The router in question is the WRT1900ACS v2 but I assume the regular AC and v1 are all the same when it comes to that.

All four are used for both bands... all the WRT1900/WRT3200's are the same here.

Best orientation for them is all vertical...

(BTW - the factory antenna's on the WRT are quite good)

Well I solely use the router for downstairs usage, Should I not put them diagonally then? The locations are also at a diagonal angle from my room.

Considering that they all work together in MIMO...

Try moving them, and see...
