Zyxel PLA5456 recalled

German paper C't has reported on 18.03.2016 that this model has been recalled. Quote:
"The recall of [the ] PLA5456 occurs because of the quality and stability of communication. The devices are available again after an update in about 4 weeks ."

I contacted Zyxel support, they are utterly clueless. Does anyone have more information, or a suitable contact?

Reply from ZyXEL says the problem is due to loose connection on the European plug. This does not affect product with U.S. style plug.

Recall is erring on the side of caution for safety.
