    I'm on 4950. This morning my 5Ghz network changed SSID from what it normally is to **. The 2.4Ghz remained functional but I had to reboot to get 5Gh working. Otherwise I had been running on 8 days of continuous uptime. Still better than the other firmware releases.

    Are you using 2.4GHz? I also noticed a bit of a slowdown on 2.4Ghz but a massive increase in stability on 5.0Ghz. For that alone I'm sticking with the newer firmware, but I wonder what setting changed for 2.4Ghz.

    Not sure about that, but I think Merlin has said that clicking on the factory reset option in the ASUS web interface is the same as pressing the reset button for 5 seconds.
