    Planning on getting the RT-AC56U. Read there were some issues with the 2.4ghz band before. Has it been resolved? I have some devices that aren't dual band, they could only connect at 2.4ghz N, and only one AC device. Or should I just get another N66U or are there any good somewhat cheaper...

    You can't check online. Only way is in stores with the white sticker on the side of the box, which tells you the hardware version. Still haven't opened mine yet.     Airport Extreme or Asus N66U?

    Currently have an Linksys WRT54GX2 that's on its way out. Looking at the Apple Airport Extreme and Asus N66U. Which one has the best range and stability? I'm also looking for a NAS that would work with Time Machine and that it's compatible with either router. Most I would spend for a NAS is $400.
