    RT-AC3200 f/w 3.0.0.4_382_51634 issues

This f/w is being offered up in the router interface and on the ASUS UK website. It doesn't work well. All 3 wifi bands were stuck on 20MHz width. Rebooting or changing wifi settings did not fix the issue. I reverted back to 3.0.0.4.382.51374 and everything is back to normal.

    [RT-AC3200] Tooltip query

The tooltip for TurboQAM states '256 QAM (MSC 8/9) support. Wireless mode must be set to Auto'. Is this correct? If I set wireless mode to 'N Only' will I lose the TurboQAM function? Thanks.

    USB-AC56 and Windows 10

What do all these adapter properties mean? A few are obvious the rest don't bring up much useful info when doing web searches. Never seen BeamCap, LdpcCap and StbcCap before.

RT-AC3200 Errors in log when mounting USB connected drives

I have 2 HDs (MAXTOR TM31000340AS and Seagate ST350032) that I plug into an Icy Box docking station (IB-120StU3). This is connected to the router's USB3 port. It takes a while for the drives to be recognized and mounted. The log shows lots of errors. Could it be that the Icy Box is simply not...

    [RT-AC68U] Checking/Repairing EXT4 telnet commands

Ok i'm a total Linix noob, my expertise lie elsewhere. I am getting this message in the system log: Jan 27 13:43:55 kernel: EXT4-fs (sda1): warning: maximal mount count reached, running e2fsck is recommended Using the "Disk Utility > Rescan" makes no difference. I tried...

    ASUS RT-AC87U design flaw?

I have been looking at all the information I can find about the RT-AC87U. TBH it's a bit of a "Frankenstein" design the way the Broadcom and Quantenna chips are put together. But what caught my attention is this: So you have 1 x Gigabit port plus 5Ghz radio (with (theoretical) throughput...
