I have 2 HDs (MAXTOR TM31000340AS and Seagate ST350032) that I plug into an Icy Box docking station (IB-120StU3).
This is connected to the router's USB3 port. It takes a while for the drives to be recognized and mounted.
The log shows lots of errors. Could it be that the Icy Box is simply not compatible?

I am running in USB2 mode right now because USB3 seems to kill the 2.4G radio, poor shielding I presume.

from the log it looks like a usb3 handshake problem. If you tried it with usb3 and didnt get usb3 performance without maxing out the CPU than it would seem to be an issue with handshake. There seem to be a lot of posts about people having problems with usb 3 drives and these routers.
