    Well going back to 858 also brought with it the disconnect problem. My connection across all devices drops and reconnects every couple of seconds. Sigh. Going to upgrade again and hope the update for the SAMBA fix comes soon.

    It's the new firmware. Reverted back to FW 858 and everything is working fine now. Also spoke with ASUS Tech and they've been receiving complaints about this issue as well. Funny stating that this FW was specifically released to deal with Samba issues but has pretty much crippled it. Oh well....

    I don't know but I went with a hardwired switch. No wireless connection within it so wireless security is a moot point at this time :) At least in this thread :)

    Ordered this for $19.99 + 1x 100ft cat 6 cable + 10x 14ft cat 6 cables. Now the switch will plug in directly into my Access Point (LAN 1 Port of AP > LAN 1 Port of Switch). If that doesn't work then I am out of luck. Thank you!
