    Factory Firmware

    I downloaded the latest factory firmware for my x4s7800. I tried to install but I keep getting a msg. "The firmware is incorrect". I am using Voxel's 1.02.39SF. Can someone please tell me how to get back to factory firmware?

    Chrome Browser Issue

    I am having a problem with Chrome when browsing syslog from the UI. I am using 380.68.0 on an RT-3100. If I review the syslog from the UI. It appears the scripts in cron are not executing. I then switched to IE 11 it shows the scripts are actually running.

    Traffic Analyzer

    I thought I read somewhere that TA turns off nat acceleration. I had it disabled but when I enabled it my speed test went way up from 49mhz to 70mhz. Can someone tell me if it's true about TA turning off nat acceleration?

    Enabling SSH

    I have a question about enabling SSH on my rt-3100. Every time I enable SSH. My "Firewall-Start" script runs. Is this normal or is something not set properly? That is what makes this "RMerlin" firmware so good! It opens up all these possibilities and works so well!

    Bridge Mode

    I cannot get my R7800 to connect in "Bridge" mode. I have tried different settings, but nothing seems to work. I had a previous R7800 that would work for this, but my current one will not connect. I have read most of the threads on this, but to no avail. Any suggestions appreciated!

    DDOS Attacks

    Is there a way to block specific addresses with X4s router? I have been getting a lot of DDOS attacks lately. I would like to be able to block those addresses from my router. I used to be able to add them to a blacklist with my old Smoothwall router.

    Can't Copy Files To Ready Share

    I have a usb stick attached to an r7800. I have tried to copy files to it through Network Neighborhood, but I keep getting an access denied from this. It is formatted ext3. Any help appreciated!

    Need Help - Bricked My R7800

    This morning my r7800 went down and I tried to get it back up, but it would not restart. I did a reset pressing the reset while turning it on. I then tried to tftp into it, but was not successful. The only lights that comes on is the one above "Esata" and the lan port one light blinks slowly...

    I am getting unscheduled reboots on an RT-3100 every 5 days. The scheduler is not turned on. Can anyone tell me what would cause this I am running Merlin 380.64

    USB Cooler For RT-3100

    I would like to add a usb cooling fan to my RT-3100. I plan to put it on top of the router. My question is which direction should the fan be set to blowing into the router or sucking air out of it for maximum cooling?

    Performance Tuning Issue

    I am having an issue with an RT-3100 with firmware 380.63_2. When I change the temp from Celsius to Fahrenheit, it will not keep the setting. It keeps reverting back to C. Any help appreciated!

    Netgear R7200 or Asus RT3100

    I am looking at two routers Netgear R-7800 and the Asus RT-3100. Which would you recommend? The Netgear seems to have a little better hardware, but I like the Asus for configurability. I need a strong 5ghz signal to reach of about 50ft. through 3 walls. I can get the Netgear cheaper around here.
