WGR614v7 as wireless bridge - is this possible?

I have an old WGR614v7 sitting around. I would like to use this as a wireless bridge for a slingbox in the bedroom. I spent a while researching this and I think it isn't possible. I wanted to avoid running an ethernet cable across the apartment. (The main router is a DIR 655). If it...

    DNS-323 or Synology 210J

I have a DNS 323. It is relatively slow. According to the charts ( http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/index.php?option=com_nas&Itemid=167 ) the Synology is much faster. (the dns does not let me stream more than one HD stream at a time) (Using SMB for bluray ISO or BDMV) and at times is jerky...

    New NAS advice?

If you don't need such processor speed, perhaps you want to consider the Synology DS 410 (which is what I am considering).

    Qnap 410 or Synology 410(j)

Given the new chip, is there any chance of getting the Synology DS410 into the charts? I would also love to see the QNAP TS-410 and QNAP TS-419P in the charts as these are the three NAS I am looking at.

    DS410 performance - significance over DS410j?

I am looking at this as well as the QNAP 410 and 419. This looks like it might be in the best price / performance combo.

Upgrade wireless cards (4965) or router (DIR-655) to get 300 speed

And I have gone back to the 4965. Why, because after a while, the 5300 has this problem, where it either drops the connection or makes it local only. I have not found a good solution yet. It is really annoying. I wish I had the higher speed but I cannot figure out why. in short...

Upgrade wireless cards (4965) or router (DIR-655) to get 300 speed

Well. I bought a 5300 card. Of course, when I tried take out the 4965 from my dell xps m1530, the screw became stripped. Now I have to send it in for that as even though I have on site service as they wont be able to remove it as the screw as stripped.

Upgrade wireless cards (4965) or router (DIR-655) to get 300 speed

Are there any specific minipci cards that you know allow for 40MHz on 2.4ghz. Is that even worth it (I live in an apartment building and can see at least a dozen (maybe more) networks).
