AC3200 LAN only connection - internet config?

Hi,

I have a pair of AC3200 routers running the latest Merlin release, one connects to the internet and the second one is my access point (but running in router mode to enable the extra functionality).

I am having an issue where even after I set the default gateway and DNS via SSH manually on the access point I cannot install optware or do anything else via the web interface that needs an internet connection.

Do I need to set anything else to get the web interface to see I have an internet connection even though it through the Lan port?

Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I hope it's something simple to allow internet connectivity via the web interface through the LAN connection.
