Asus RT-N56U and ISPEC and L2TP setting, please help. Would you mind advise how to set as I am concerned the VPN of PPTP is not as safe as ISPEC and L2TP, please kindly advise and comment.

The Asus RT-N56U running default ASUS firmware only supports PPTP VPN *server*. It does not support IPSEC + L2TP server.
This is for setting up a VPN to enable access to the network behind the RT-N56U. The router by default supports using IPSEC+L2TP VPNs *from* the RT-N56U.

So if you want to be able to securely access your home LAN you are stuck with PPTP.
If you want to be able to securely access your work LAN then the RT-N56U supports IPSEC and L2TP pass-through.
