The Media Server does not work . On my Smart Tv , at the input list , the icon for Asus Media Server does not appear anymore. Does nobody actually use an external HDD for Media Server ?
Anyways , beginning from version 3.0.0.4.378.7838 it started to not work properly. Will it get resolved in the future or am I supposed to buy a NAS ?
Otherwise the Wi-Fi works well.

[Beta release]
- Fixed httpd/ Telnetd/ SSH restart issue after LAN address changed

Installing this build fixed restarting httpd every 30 seconds:
watchdog: restart httpd
rc_service: watchdog 483:notify_rc start_httpd
RT-AC3200: start httpd - SSL

but now the admin pages can be very slow.

Does it require a factory reset? A hardware-button factory reset?
After that is it OK to restore a saved config or will that restore incompatible state?

I didn't perform a factory reset, and all seems to be working fine so far.

Only issue I've had with this firmware is that the internet access function for individual devices doesn't work through the browser and is a bit flakey when used through the app

Do you mean device access to the internet or to the router's configuration web pages?

If you mean the latter, I'm having the same problem and wondering if a factory reset will help.

Wish I could get good uptime.. I got about a week and a half on this beta before something went again. Router still responded to pings, and started ssh login, but wouldn't complete, or route anything.

It all seems fine to me. The problem I have is with the section where we can list the connected clients and can enable and disable internet access for each single device - it sometimes works with the app, but doesn't work at all using the GUI

Web pages are way too slow, they need to fix this so more people can test this beta. Went back to previous version because it was useless with the interface that slow.
