New Around Here
Hi,

I have been running an OpenVPN server successfully for a while on my Rt n66u. I have connected to the VPN server with my android phone without any problems at all using the official open vpn client.
I recently bought a Iphone 6 and would like to do the same with that one. I downloaded the official open vpn client from app store and imported the same profiles and certifcate I used on my android phone.
But it doesnt connect. The log from the client app tells me there is a Server Poll timeout.
On the server side there is nothing in the log. By the way Im looking in webgui system log.
Anyone else experienced anything like this?
Can anyone give me some advice on how to perhaps enable more logging on the serverside?

Im running merlin firmware 376.47.

Here is the log from the openvpn client:

You can change the verbosity with the verb option. Add this to your .conf or Custom Configuration at the bottom of the VPN Details tab:

verb 4

1 is the least verbose. I'm not sure how high you can go.

Problem solved. Turns out that my isp had changed all subscribers ip addresses to private addresses due to shortage of ip4 afresses [emoji15]
A simple call to the support and they made my ip address public again [emoji3]
