New Around Here
Hi!

I have e4200 as a primary router and wanna to use e3000 as a media bridge.
I can`t do that.

On 2.4Ggz it works. But on 5Ggz e3000 dont see 5Ggz wifi wireless net.
On e4200 stock firmware, on e3000 dd-wrt.

May be it can`t work together? And i need to buy Cisco Linksys 4-Port Dual-Band N Entertainment Bridge WES610N?

I think there may have been some problems with the 5Ghz wireless with some DD-WRT builds. If you're not running 14929 you might want to give it a try on your E3000.

I see.
Thanks!

Can e4200 stay on stock firmware?....
It works very well with my provider, dont want to change anything with it.

I must try tomato on e3000?
Am i right?

well of course, just use wireless client bridge mode on the e3000 using tomato

Thank you so much!
It works! :)

By the way... client bridge - gives internet but don`t gives access to share folders in my home network (on NAS)
But enthernet wireless bridge mode - GIVES EVERYTHING)
I use TomatoUSB.

Thanks again
