Error building from GIT source. Ubuntu 12.04 x64

After installing everything on the list in the readme, here are the additional packages I needed to install.

make
intltool
libglib2.0-dev

libglib2.0-dev contains the Automake macros needed by Avahi.

Thanks, finally got it to compile. Should be safe for Merlin to apply the changes.

Hey buddy, is there any chance you could submit a pull request? Have been using your branch and no issues so far after a few days so should be safe to.

I'm waiting until after the 374.40 final release. So there are fewer possible blockers to getting the security fixes out.
