need help after reflash with Merlin's code on AC87U

Been having multiple issues with dropping of bands, poor performance,... Did the reflash, reset to factory, and manual reconfigure with new ssid's. Seems to be more stable for the moment but have an odd issue with my printer. It is 2.4G only and most of my other devices support 5G. Prior to the reset the printer worked fine. Now devices cant see it unless they are switched to the 2.4 band. Any suggestions? One last thing, I can ping the printer when on either band but cant web into it or print to it from the 5G band. Printer is an HP476nw if that helps any.
