I followed Merlin's instructions to install Transmission client, and everything works OK except the fact that Transmission runs in GMT time zone, ignoring TZ on the router. This shows up in the timestamp of Transmission's log records, and in the scheduled times for alternative speed. Is there a way to make Transmission to take into account router's time zone?

Hi,

Same thing here - see syslog extract:
Code:
Jun 2 20:00:01 crond[513]: crond: USER admin pid 30511 cmd /jffs/scripts/ledsoff.sh
Jun 2 20:00:01 rc_service: service 30514:notify_rc restart_leds
Jun 2 18:42:39 transmission-daemon[5217]: OpenELEC-RPi.arm-5.0.8.tar Tracker error: "Connection failed" (torrent.c:580)
Jun 2 19:11:41 transmission-daemon[5217]: OpenELEC-RPi.arm-5.0.8.tar Tracker error: "Connection failed" (torrent.c:580)
Jun 2 19:13:06 transmission-daemon[5217]: OpenELEC-RPi.arm-5.0.8.tar Tracker error: "Connection failed" (torrent.c:580)
Jun 3 04:00:00 crond[513]: crond: USER admin pid 32161 cmd /jffs/scripts/restart-wlan.sh

In my case it's even 2 hours wrong - maybe due to the difference between CET Daylight Saving Time and GMT without DST.

With kind regards
Joe
