What router/switches/cabling do I need to take full advantage of local streaming?

Like lossless audio through the nvidia shield, and all the newest visual stuff (TV is an LG C3). I have an RT-AC68u now and an old netgear switch and a GS108Ev3 switch, will anything newer make any difference to this?

Thanks in advance.

Unless you're planning on streaming 8k content or some super high-quality uncompressed 4k content, you should be fine with Gigabit Ethernet.
The only advantage of upgrading to something faster will be for shuffling large files around.
