for some odd reason, my up bandwidth didn't drop as expected during the bad MTU test; i think it could be related to the script i have in place that forces the lan bridge MTU to take on the WAN MTU.
i wish we had more options in the firmware for setting lan-side MTU.
[edit/] i highly recommend enabling Closed Captioning with this video.
