Iptable command to cause packet loss

What I want to do is to randomly drop a percentage of all incoming packets to one of my lan devices, to basically simulate a poor internet connection!

Is it possible to use iptables to create inbound packet loss per ip address?

5GHz, 802.11ac and 802.11h in UK and EU

Tried various F/Ws over the last couple of days with factory reset and minimal setup, but am having connection issues with 5GHz with both 40 and 80MHz widths, so I'm thinking my AC66 has bit the dust, was about to invest in an 87u but am now waiting to see if the 3200 is or becomes available in...

5GHz, 802.11ac and 802.11h in UK and EU

That's odd because I only have 11h or 11d+h, I was considering the hack which is why I was enquiring whether the AC66 will use DFS once the upper channels are opened up.

5GHz, 802.11ac and 802.11h in UK and EU

Thanks sfx and jegesq for the clarification and advice. jegesq, I was aware of the thread you mention, I even posted to it early on but could not bring myself to go through the whole thing without first ingesting some kind of controlled substance, I hadn't realised it contained any useful...

5GHz, 802.11ac and 802.11h in UK and EU

Over the last couple of months, my 5GHz wifi has become practically unusable with an 80 MHz channel width (to achieve full speed on the ac bridge in the bedroom) which I have recently discovered is because of interference from the Wii U gamepad which uses the four lower channels of the 5GHz band...

AC68U - Manually Assigned IPs - inside or outside the DHCP Pool range?

From Rmerlin in a previous thread, "The real problem is, a lot of users got used to allocating static leases outside of the scope, which is wrong. People are mixing up reservations with static IPs. A static IP is something you configure on the computer's network interface, and which must be...

    NAT Loopback and PS3

In the PS3 menu, go to Settings, Network Settings and run the Internet Connection Test, if your Nat Tpye is type 2, your connection is working correctly and the problem is with the other player, if it is type 3, then make sure you have either UPNP enabled or the correct ports forwarded if UPNP...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.50 is out

Accessing port 18099 in your browser does indeed lead to a blocking page, so it seems this is the reason these forwards were implemented; rather than the internet connection just dropping, which could lead to confusion as to why the connection just dropped, you get a page explaining why. Adults...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.49 is out

First, thanks for the immediacy of the fix, and second, thanks for the confirmation, found the solution in another thread, next time I'll try a bit more searching and troubleshooting before posting  Thanks again.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.49 is out

I have NAT acceleration (CTF) enabled and yet all traffic monitoring features and (from an earlier post) parental control features appear to be working perfectly!
