constant ping timeouts
I'm pinging All local devices connected to the LAN. I'm moved beyond the wiring issue, because like I said, it does it on every device that's connected DIRECTLY to the back of the router with a cat5 cable. EVERY device. Not just one device where possibly the cable is bad. -

So I keep getting dropped connections, and started running a constant ping on some devices to get to the bottom of it. I keep getting random "request timeout" responses during constant ping on my devices. Some more so than others. I'm getting them on devices that are far away and going... -

Updated to latest version and lost half of client list
Does anyone know if this is STILL an issue? Or if it was fixed in a recent release? I still haven't upgraded in over a year now because of this issue.- BBE

creating port pinhole on asus router
Yes, I can open the port on the web server and access it just fine outside of the network, but I can't figure out how to restrict outside access to only a single ip address. -

A web server. I can point the port they want opened to the ip address of the web server. My assumption is that this is what they mean. But I can't seem to make it restricted to a single ip address. Even with using the "source ip" option in asus port forwarding, it still blocks the port even... -

Can someone recommend a firewall for my needs?
I'm looking for something that will allow me to create a white list of domains that an IP address on my network can access. And need to be able to create separate white list for each IP address. And also possibly block/allow only certain ports for each individual IP address as well. Second...- BBE

Updated to latest version and lost half of client list
Just recently updated all my 88u's and 68u's last night to the latest version. Previous version was fairly old... I wanna say from last December. After updating, about half of my connected devices disappeared from my client list. They all still work, but they don't show up in the client list...- BBE

asus ac88-U how to block web browsing access to specific LAN device
Basically I'm trying to only block web browsing on a single LAN wired device. So anytime someone pulls up a web browser and types in a standard port 80 website like www.google.com or facebook.com or whatever, they won't be able to access it. Any ideas? Trying the network services filter, and... -
