    ASUS RT-BE92U

I mean unless file contents for post #389 (/sys/ files and boot errata) were added by you, there's not much to go off of other than mentions of Cortex-A53 being scattered around the device files.

    ASUS RT-BE92U

@jzchen, No that's just the memory interfaces it supports, and 16-bit references the width of the memory data bus. The CPU may support multiple DDR4 chips to get 32-bit (2x16-bit) or 64-bit (4x16-bit) memory, but that's a whole other rabbit hole. The only thing on Broadcom's BCM6765 page you...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

I mean yes, it obviously was incorrect since the Cortex-A7 isn't ARMv8 https://wikidevi.wi-cat.ru/Broadcom/SoC (Ctrl+F "BCM6765") but unless I'm blind, there's absolutely nothing on Broadcom's page to indicate which ARM core it actually has. "Quad-core ARMv8" could be one of a dozen processors...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 3006.102.5 is now available

Did you check System Log to see if there was a crash? With my previous BE92U the only time I ever get that issue is after a crash + reboot. You can check uptime or look for Dec 31 timestamps as long as you know when you manually rebooted the router.

    ASUS RT-BE92U

Exchanged the router and slapped on a 4-year Best Buy warranty. Gonna test latest Merlin (3006.102.5) since it seems like Merlin is actually ahead of the latest official BE-92U firmware (37563) now. - UPDATED: Merged GPL 3006.102_38757 for WIfi 7 devices. Something I dug into was the Broadcom...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

It is certainly specific to what I bought. BE-92U is currently $220, and Best Buy recycle for an ancient router got me 15% off, so the UDR7 is almost exactly 50% more expensive right now. And again, there's other complications with the UDR7 since specs aside, I'd need even more things on the...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

Spoke early, still getting crashes on latest Asus firmware (37563). Seeing some of these right before crashing: kernel: WLC_SCB_DEAUTHORIZE error (-30) kernel: WLC_SCB_DEAUTHENTICATE_FOR_REASON err -30 but searching through the forums those just seem to be normal Wifi disconnects. Return window...

    ASUS RT-BE92U

If you were referring to my post, then probably not since I haven't touched QoS for years now, and by default QoS appears to be off.

    ASUS RT-BE92U

I was having daily crashes on my BE-92U using latest Merlin (3006.102.4) with Diversion and Skynet running and only a few settings changed otherwise. Logs didn't show anything conclusive but I did see below for a few of the crashes: kernel: rcu: INFO: rcu_preempt self-detected stall on CPU I did...

    Asus DDNS Not Working

Actually it might still run the DNS on the router. I don't remember what was the issue the most recent time but there was a time when router.asus.com redirected to asus.com for a few days. Maybe the DNS on the router itself got messed up. I found something that might be relevant regarding the...

    Asus DDNS Not Working

router.asus.com is still linked to asus.com. If they screw up something on their end then the redirect doesn't work. From what I recall, it's happened around twice since I've used used the router. And I don't know about No-IP's software but this is still the policy on DDNS from their site...

    Asus DDNS Not Working

Yeah my bad didn't even notice that. But Asus never had a good track record of zero downtime. No-IP is probably better but you gotta login and verify every month, which gets really annoying.

    Asus DDNS Not Working

That problem looks like an issue with TOR rather than the DDNS.

    Asus DDNS Not Working

Yup same here. From what I recall, the DDNS and router.asus.com go down from time to time. I periodically check/use them and I've noticed about 1 period of downtime every 3 months or so. It usually gets fixed after a day or two. Not a reliable DDNS if anything, but probably the easiest to use at...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.66 Beta is now available

Did router.asus.com break for anyone else? On a reset it says that the site is redirecting too much. After setup through 192.168.1.1 the page just redirects to asus.com Seems like www.asusnetwork.net broke too as well. Did Asus forget to renew the domain or are they disabling them now? EDIT...
