    wan-start never get called

    Wow, just adding that line make it work!!! must be a timing thing. Maybe ppp0 is not fully functional when wan-start got called and calling logger made it work by adding a delay. Thank you very much.

    Don't know, but you can install fonz' funplug that can support many more things than just bittorrent. Pretty sure, except for usb which the dns-321 has none.

    I'd suggest to eliminate all numbers for file size smaller than 2G (or 1G). Above 2G, it'd be very unlikely for the local cache to have a significant effect on the results. we can't just look at the read numbers. Some NASen have very different read-vs-write performance.
