    A lot of my IoT issues (nest thermostat, govee home sensors) were solved by putting them all on a 2.4 guest network. I have no idea why it worked, but it did work.

    Yes, so far so good for me in terms of stability. In addition, my ooma voip set up is now much more useable. The sound quality has improved significantly.

    I've also kept the main router on 22068, and downgraded the node to 21099 due to numerous losses of node connectivity (red light). Since that change, things have been pretty stable for me. I have the backhaul hard wired.

    I've been running the beta for 24+ hours. I have a wired back haul. No issues so far. The latest non-beta version was causing the node to drop off and start blinking red, until I rebooted it.

    In all fairness, my own experience with ASUS tech support is that they very commonly can't diagnose firmware issues, and often default to sending new units.     I rebooted both. Actually, the issue only exists if I click on the mesh icon on the diagram on the home page. If I do that, it only shows me the mesh client, not the main router.
