AiMesh setup issues with RT-AX88U and RT-AX58U. Looking for suggestions.

As for the Samsung S22 dropping Wifi, I had the same problem after upgrading of of my nodes. SOLUTION: 1. Turn off the phone and reboot. 2. Open WiFi Settings and FORGET your SSID. 3. Select and login to your SSID. Should be good to go after that. Something about changing the node confused it.

    RT-AX58U WiFi but no Ethernet

I'm posting this in hopes it helps someone down the line... I recently installed an RT-AX58U running 3.0.0.4.386_49674-ge182230 to replace my aging RT-AC1750B1 as the primary router for my AiMesh network which consisted of a second AC1750 and two RP-AC55 nodes. After the installation and f/w...

    Port Forwarding List disappeared!

    Thanks, I'll look into that.

    Port Forwarding List disappeared!

I'm running ASUSwrt and have 32 static addresses 8 port forwarding entries.

    Port Forwarding List disappeared!

Thanks, that gives me a direction to look at. It's only happened once in the 4 years I've had it so if it takes that long to fill up either of those I'll probably have a new router by then.

    Port Forwarding List disappeared!

RT-AC1750 B1 running f/w 3.0.0.4.386_49703 with 3 AiMesh nodes. All of a sudden I couldn't connect to my cameras or other devices while I was traveling. When I got home I looked at the Port Forwarding list in the router and it was blank - NADA - no entries. All other settings in the router...

    Strange AiMesh problem

Thank you all for your replies. I do have a daily reboot scheduled at 5am so it happened after (or as a result of) that. The auto-reboot the next morning didn't fix it. It wasn't till I pulled the plug the next day that it worked, so it needed a cold reboot. Unless it happens again I'll go...

    Strange AiMesh problem

I have a pair of AC1750 B1 routers connected with Ethernet in an AiMesh network with wireless backhaul disabled. A couple of days ago the one that is the node was not providing WiFi. The WiFi light was flickering normally but it wasn't transmitting. The primary was fine. I rebooted the node...

    AiMesh Extender hardware options

Your solution of using a second AiMesh router over the AiMesh extender is the best path. I had some dropout problems with the extenders that were eliminated when I replaced them with another router.

    RP-AC55 aimesh 2.0 (thus FW 386.x)

Here's the RP-AC55 AiMesh documentation that is provided as separate, hard to read sheet in the box.

    RP-AC55 aimesh 2.0 (thus FW 386.x)

First do a factory reset on the RP-AC55 then plug it in near the router and find it from the AiMesh screen.

Why AIMesh? What am I missing?

For devices that sit in one place all the time AiMesh doesn't do much but my wife, who moves around the house listening to audio books on her Kindle, was thrilled when I went from simple AP's to AiMesh. With the AP's the signal from one would have to drop completely - along with the audio -...

USB Tethering Speeds - ASUS RT-AC66U

I know this is an old thread but the speed through the router cannot be greater than the speed your phone can achieve through it's cellular connection. Try running a speed test from the A8 and see what you get. If you're getting 30-50Mbps on a 4g+ link you're doing pretty well. That kind of...

ASUS AC66U B1 to Modem instabilities

If I understand the configuration you've described, I think I see a conflict here. My first question is whether the ISP is providing two IP addresses through the modem or just one. If just one, then your IPTV device and your router are competing for it which would be a problem. But, either...

Access point mode or router? Help please

I'm not sure what kind of Comcast support you're trying to ensure but I'd dump the Comcast modem/router and save the $15+ tax per month and buy your own modem for under $70. It'll pay for itself in less than 5 months. I've never had a problem with mine in the 8 years I've had it. Install it...
