Thanks, with DD-WRT I was lucky if I could reach 100Mbps and with stock I reach 230mbps easily. I’ve actually put pfSense on a desktop connecting one port to the cable modem and the other to my switch with LAN devices, including the WRT as AP ... I have to say it’s working quite well now...

As the title suggests, I found a NIB Asus router still in original packaging and he only lives 15 minutes from me; however, he has no receipt as it was a gift to his father-in-law who never used the router. This is about $30 cheaper than I can get on Amazon right now and I'm tempted to buy it...
