Diversion Diversion not working with local IPV6 DNS

I could use some help getting Diversion to work when my local DNS is used over IPv6. Diversion works great when my clients use the IPv4 address for my router, but does not work via the IPv6 address. I have a fresh build AX58U running 386.1_2. Diversion (4.1.12) installed via AMTM (3.1.9)...

Need help diagnosing AC86U spontaneous reboot

Just want to bring closure to my issue. Memory behavior on my router is dramatically different after re-config from scratch (plus AMTM usb setup) vs restore from settings backup. Memory is being released. Swap is being used in small amounts. This looks solved to me.

Need help diagnosing AC86U spontaneous reboot

Oh, I am very late to the AMTM party. That was a sweet experience. Now have my USB drive formatted and config'd with swap the AMTM way. Entware installed along with Diversion. Have a feeling my "memory leak" issue is going to be resolved now. Thanks for that info!!

Need help diagnosing AC86U spontaneous reboot

Rebooting loop did not stop after removing the USB thumb drive (named entware and it is old). I just ran a scan and and the drive did not cleanly unmount. I have never run a health scan on this drive. Am thinking I need to switch to a more modern drive. entware was not cleanly unmounted...

Need help diagnosing AC86U spontaneous reboot

Just an update on my issue. I flashed to 386.1 on both mesh nodes and main router and will have to monitor for a few weeks to determine whether the "memory leak" issue is resolved. Interestingly, the mesh node flashes went smoothly however the main router went into a reboot loop after the...

Need help diagnosing AC86U spontaneous reboot

My AC86U reboots itself every 3 weeks or so. I am trying to figure out why. The symptoms are: --public internet stops being accessible, --LAN is accessible, --memory is about 95% (returns to 70% after reboot), --swap is 10MB of 255MB (0 of 255MB after reboot), --router reboot was triggered...

    ASUS AiMesh Reviewed

I am running AIMESH AC86U main router and AC68U mesh node. Ethernet backhaul. Merlin's latest offering on both. Mesh works, but am seeing lots of log messages for the 68U wifi attempting to connect and being rejected by roaming assistant. Why would the mesh node attempt to connect to wifi?

    OpenVPN server setup on 378.56_2

No worries and no Windows in my world. I was trying various combinations and permutations of OSX client with its native textedit app, then textwrangler (also OSX). Certs and Keys were on a samba shared usbkey accessed by OSX Finder. Switched to Opensuse linux client and a few apps there incl...

    OpenVPN server setup on 378.56_2

Actually was thinking I might make life a bit simpler by avoiding problems with special characters/carriage returns if I could skip a copy/paste step in the webui. Anyway, my setup is working fine thanks to Merlin's excellent software the the great documentation in these forums. Thanks.

    OpenVPN server setup on 378.56_2

Export for clients works fine. I was looking for a pure command line way to set up my custom certs for the server. No copy/paste required into webui. Sequence like 1-stop openvpn server, 2-copy certs and keys to /jffs/openvpn/* and preserve filenames, 3-start openvpn server. Would that work?

    OpenVPN server setup on 378.56_2

What is the best way to update the server certs without using webui? I am having a nightmarish time with carriage returns.
