    GT-AX6000 Alpha Firmware

I meant errors compiling. I have no issues with the downloaded firmware. But I am making some minor changes and wanted to compile my own. Thanks!

Were you able to compile for gt-ax6000? I am having many errors and was wondering if you were able to do it.

Hi, I am having trouble compiling for gt-ax6000. It does work for other targets but I get errors for this one. Any updated instructions?

    WAN was exceptionally disconnected

Problem started for me after I did the following: - Connected AX88U to WAN - Setup AC5300 as AIMesh Node (connected in ethernet backhaul mode) - Upgrade both to latest 386.2 firmware. As you said, it is probably a combination of these factors: AiMesh, AX88U and firmware are in common on both...

    WAN was exceptionally disconnected

I have been experiencing this same problem since I replaced my AC5300 with an AX88U. I would get the WAN error every few days or even a few times a day. After trying everything (reinstalled firmware after wiping out all settings and reconfiguring everything manually) same problem. 2 weeks ago...

amcfwm - AsusWRT-Merlin Custom Firmware Manager

Thanks for pointing it up. I was not aware self-compiled firmware did not have 100% of the functionality. If I understood correctly the images compiled by RMerlin do have all functionality enabled, correct? The main reason I am complining my own firmware is to generate some drivers for the...

amcfwm - AsusWRT-Merlin Custom Firmware Manager

Awesome script! Had done it manually in the past and it was involved. Tried for the first time with 2 builds and worked flawlessly. Thanks for this! Is there a way to configure it to download the latest stable release instead of the latest commited?

    AX88U USB issue

I installed entware on the new one and then copied /jffs and all the configs inside the /opt directory. I edited a few where the paths were different. Everything seems to work except the UPS usb detection which is more a kernel issue I believe.

    AX88U USB issue

I am trying to move the configuration I had on my AC5300 to an AX88U. So far everything works except the detection of the UPS. Both routers are running the same version (384.14) and both have the usb modules compiled and inserted in the kernel prior to connecting the UPS. If I type dmesg this...

    RT-AX88U build instructions

Hi, I have 3 Asus routers (RT-AC5300, RT-AC3200 and recently bought a RT-AX88U). I am able to compile the firmware for both the AC5300 and the AC3200 but cannot find instructions on how to do it for the AX88U. I would like to replace the AC3200 with the 5300 and the 5300 with the AX88U and...

EDIT: I guess I had a downloaded the wrong roots.pem or maybe overwrote by mistake. Ater downloading roots.pem again everything works. I have read the entire thread and followed many of the recommendations that worked for others. However, after downloading https://pki.google.com/roots.pem...

    HID driver not present (UPS)

Hi, I am trying to get an APC UPS working with apcupsd in merlin on a Asus RT-AC5300 router. I can see the APC detected in dmesg but I am missing the usb drivers. I saw you posted a few messages regarding building your own firmware and copying the drivers but the link you provided then is no...
