    I did all the suggestions and also Chrome had a setting for "secure DNS" in the client, i unchecked this and now it seems to block ads successfully. Thanks guys!

    Update: seems it only doesn't work on chrome for Android, other browsers on the same device gets rerouted properly. Does chrome natively use Googles DNS these days?

    Alright, so that's done, forcing router DNS as you can see in the screenshots above. Rebooted my device and still, no ads get blocked. Any other ideas?

    Alright, then nothing out of the ordinary. The small disconnects don't get logged and don't cause the device to lose it's connected status in the network map. I'm at a loss tbh :/

    Alright so I've tested all channels, without DFS but I still get the random disconnects same as before. The error log is empty I'm afraid, as stated in my original post.
