As is visible, the GUI says version 388.1 is current, but https://www.asuswrt-merlin.net/download says RT-AX58U_388.2_2_puresqubi.w is current. Are there security updates I'm missing or are the differences non-critical? Thanks.

I'd downloaded both but unzipped the wrong one. Got it right and it loaded up fine.
I learned that my ISP doesn't use a traditional login for a static ip and uses DHCP and just always assigns the same IP.
Haven't had a chance to explore unique settings in Merlin.
