    Tried WG with Surfshark on my GT-AXE11000 spending a significant amount of time with support and they finally gave up saying they built the server side to support OpenWRT but not (at least for now) stock ASUSWRT firmware. They promptly issued a full refund being very apologetic.

    Yes, I have NAT selected on with my Proton WG configuration (GT-AXE11000 with the latest stock firmware 388.X)-all my devices work without a hitch-very happy with WG performance compared to OpenVPN-PS5 games/streaming services function as if there was no VPN at all

    I can only speak from the standpoint of Wireguard (Proton) on a GT-AXE11000 (VPN Fusion) with the latest firmware-the only option available from the Web GUI regarding NAT is on or off.

    Those of course are two of the major considerations but also take into account the physical location of the servers-closer to you of course is better regarding latency and jitter.     Unfortunately NordVPN does not have WG config files available (yet-let them know you would like to have a WG config file for NordVPN) but incorporated in their NordLynx protocol/apps. There are other VPN providers that provide WG config files as part of your subscription Proton being one of them...
