    Is it possible to block certain games (league of legends, Minecraft) and YouTube at certain time of the day with the Asus RTn66u router? I know I can block all internet at certain time for specific client but I want the kids to be able to use the internet for homework but only get to play games...

    I started with the updated base firmware from Asus and noticed everything is stable and then updated to the Merlin 380.61. Been rock solid since last night on both wifi channels.     Just a quick update. I tried everything including reflashing the original firmware and it still didn't fix the issue so I just replaced the router at BestBuy and everything is working very well. Amazing speed and no drops all night so far. Looks like I just had a defective router.

    RT-AC3100 dropping 2.4g clients

    I must have the exact same issue as I did the same as you and my wifi just randomly drops. Looks like I am going to return the router to see if it's hardware. Ether net has no issues. Sent from my SM-N920W8 using Tapatalk

    Did you ever solve this problem? I was fine all week until today when I get constant disconnection and the wifi just dissapear completely.

    5Gh SSID invisible. 380.61

    Is this a known issue with 380.61? I purchased the router last week and it seems to be ok while I was away but then today I connected to my work VPN on my laptop and my wifi dropped and it looks like the router rebooted. Does this firmware have an issue with VPN connections?
