RT-AX86U Unable to port-forward port 80 (others working)

Ok so the lets-encrypt challenge is not done against my router but against an asus server? I`ve set it to HTTPS only now. But still no juice.. :( Does that mean my ISP is blocking port 80 then?

RT-AX86U Unable to port-forward port 80 (others working)

Yes, but since asuscomm DDNS is able to issue a lets-encrypt certificate on my custom Asuscomm then it means port 80 is actually not blocked right? Because it uses port 80 for HTTP challenge verification?

RT-AX86U Unable to port-forward port 80 (others working)

Thanks for your clarification. Wan access is not enabled. Only local access on "BOTH":

RT-AX86U Unable to port-forward port 80 (others working)

And what does this actually mean? "When your network's firewall is disabled and you set 80 as the HTTP server's port range for your WAN setup, then your http server/web server would be in conflict with RT-AX86U's web user interface." I cannot make any sense of it...

What do you mean setup local port?

RT-AX86U Unable to port-forward port 80 (others working)

On my Asus RT-AX86U, port-forwarding for port 80 does not work. All other ports work fine, it is just port 80 that has an issue... Anyone know what can help? I have tried disabling http for router web-ui. Only have HTTPS on 8443 now. I have tried disabling Asus router DDNS lets encrypt (which...

Asus ZenWifi XT8 slower than my AC68U :(

Yes i have separated the SSIDs in order to make sure im on the 5Ghz and not 2.4 ghz. So im definatly connected to 5Ghz. I have also tested downloading from the NAS by Iphone 11 and Windows 10 laptop with NC wifi card. Both report around 20-27 MB/s also... So it seems not to be Macbook related...

Asus ZenWifi XT8 slower than my AC68U :(

Hello! I just bought the Asus ZenWiFi XT8 mesh in order to upgrade from my older AC68U router. But to my big disappointment it is so far not at all an upgrade in performance. In my old router (AC68U) i got speeds of 50MB/s downloading files from my NAS (connected directly with 1Gbs port to...

    5 AP for business use

Thanks for all your replies! Not much is needed for security, since they have no servers or no important hardware inside their network. All the WiFi should do is to provide internett access to their Macs (all running macs). And maybe a printer or two. Someone local has suggested to buy...

    5 AP for business use

Router and AP for business use? Hi, We need to cover about 600 square meters of office area with a good wireless signal. We want to put up 5 wireless AccessPoints. We need to split the Wireless into multiple networks, 4 different networks with different SSID would do. The internet input...

    NAS with or without transcoding

I've never had any troubles playing video-files on my smart-TV when I stream them from Serviio server on my laptop. So i guess it can play most formats. With the QNAP TS-251 (that has transcoding), will the NAS automatically transcode when needed when I try to play a file on my smartTV? And...

    NAS with or without transcoding

Hi, I have read a bit about NAS and see that some come with and others without transcoding. Do I really need transcoding for my use? I have a Samsung Smart TV, and need a NAS where i can dump my video-files and play them on my Smart-TV with subtitles. Subtitles is really important...
