    Voxel USB Printer on R7800

I am using "basic" usb storage setting on router, I did not select Readyshare Printer. I used Bonjour to set up the printer, and once the port was created I set the printer up manually.

    Voxel USB Printer on R7800

If I reboot the router - I connect to the printers fine. Is there a service that is crashing? Do I need to schedule nightly reboots so that people can print normally during the day?

    Voxel USB Printer on R7800

I just got rid of a Linux box I was using as a print server and put the R7800 in charge of print serving. I am using Bonjour and it installed ok, but keep running into errors that " Windows cannot print do to an error with the current setup" Its intermittent and I am seeing it on more than one...

Currently running an R7800 - have an AX4200 RX43 in the house - worth it to give it a try?

No worries - it ok - not someone super close. I am not disatisfied with the R7800 - I was just curious if there was room for improvement moving from an AC to an AX based router. From some of my readings, even though the new hardware is Broadcom based its got some serious issues. Just curious if...

Not much of a story - relative passed away and we are going through what is left over.

Currently running an R7800 - have an AX4200 RX43 in the house - worth it to give it a try?

family member dropped off a bunch of goods and one of that AX routers was in the box. Any thoughts on how it performs compared to a Voxel equipped R7800?

Voxel Adding bandwidth monitoring to Voxel R7800

YES. - The connection seems faster overall - Content off pages like Facebook/Amazon/Twitter load much fast, more complete ( used to have to wait for content to load) - Mobil uploads are much faster, used to be a delay. - I have not confirmed it - but I am sure the kids are all much happier with...

Voxel Adding bandwidth monitoring to Voxel R7800

I ended up finding a Motorola MB8600 DOCIS 3.1 modem for a nice price on Facebook Marketplace. Upstream latency was decreased from 255ms to 12ms Here are the test results: https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=c8249763-218e-49cf-8c8f-f965809bbbeb

Voxel Adding bandwidth monitoring to Voxel R7800

I have run the test with QOS active, with the computer attached to the cable modem, from my mobile phone and the results are all the same. - the latency is from the ISP not the router - the router is not adding any overhead or delay - the hardwired pc is getting the same results as a local 5g...

I rant the test - router failed on the buffer bloat test, particularly on the upload. https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=4c841393-2f6f-4f80-85d5-1c9a2f1ff24c

Voxel Adding bandwidth monitoring to Voxel R7800

My apologies for not being cleared in my original post. We are a house of seven with lots of devices. I was on this morning with Spectrum and they talked to me about an upgrade. I had not really given it much thought - but thought it was prudent to see how much of our connection was being...

Voxel Adding bandwidth monitoring to Voxel R7800

I have a 120mbps connection (unlimited quota) and want to see how much of it I am utilizing. The traffic meter doesn't give me any throughput data - so hence the need for a reporting suite that can tell me how much of the connection I am using.

Voxel Adding bandwidth monitoring to Voxel R7800

I am currently on Spectrum with a 120MB package. $20 more a month gives me 300-400 MB, I am not sure we need the bandwidth and don't want to pay for it if we don't need it. We have 25+ devices on router and am looking to see just how much bandwidth I am consuming. What is the best way to...
