    Entware Transmission stopped working

I can confirm it: latest Entware Transmission 4.0.3-2 crashes and the only fix is to set "dht-enabled": false, in /opt/etc/transmission/settings.json I am pretty sure the problem is in libdht. Hope it will be updated in a near time.

YazDHCP YazDHCP floods with dnsmasq errors

/etc/dnsmasq.conf And yes: I know it is regenerated with every reboot. Looks like I need to write some script that will changes entries after reboot every time. However the source of problem was indicated. The solution is quite easy by the way: adding the following into dnsmasq.postconf: And...

YazDHCP YazDHCP floods with dnsmasq errors

Yup I've got it. Put # sign at the end of each entry and after restart of dnsmasq looks like the problem gets solved. However I still wonder why YazDHCP didn't removed them automatically during installation.

YazDHCP YazDHCP floods with dnsmasq errors

@bennor Asus RT-AX86U, Merlin 386.7, but I am pretty sure the problem is in script itself, not firmware or other scripts. And of course rebooting etc was tested, this problem exists for ages since RT-AC86U, I did not pay attention actually because everything works. However flooding in logs is...

YazDHCP YazDHCP floods with dnsmasq errors

Of course these entries are present as YazDHCP initially took them from there: It looks like the script itself adds new entries from .staticlist but does not check are they already present in dnsmasq.conf. So what is the solution? Cleaning entries in dnsmasq.conf cleans the table in LAN - DHCP...

YazDHCP YazDHCP floods with dnsmasq errors

Hi all. I am using YazDHCP and it constantly floods in logs: At the same time I don't see anything incorrect in .staticlist: So what is wrong?

The network drops down on RT-AX86U with latest 388.1_0

After numerous tests seems the problem is cause by firmware itself (and of course by some of my settings). The best solution was a dirty revert to Merlin RT-AX86U_386.7_0/ All following versions seems affected.

    [ 388.2 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I don't get your question :) Firmware can both break and fix. It's normal situation. Yes, one can factory reset and then restore all settings from backup - but it makes factory reset meaningless as all possible problems will restore also. Moreover some settings are not backed up in a file - so...

    [ 388.2 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Unfortunately the router does not allow to export all configuration in some form of text file and/or separating different parts of settings in different files (like ani *nix system does). It means to restore my configuration I have to manually screenshot all pages and restore them one by one. It...

    [ 388.2 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Also these ones seem strange but not critical: Unfortunately my issue with random network drops is not solved: I still cannot copy 10-20 Gb files from shared HDD on any client (just an example to reproduce, same on Internet dl/ul so it is true for any connection) without connection drops. And...

    [ 388.2 alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Dirty upgrade on AX86U from 388.1 because it was almost not possible to work with that latest release. Only few minutes after upgrade - cannot report something more but 1. What is that wsdd2 flood in logs? The message appears again and again with different pid in []. 2. Smbd seems working...

The network drops down on RT-AX86U with latest 388.1_0

I have to report about serious problem I have observed with latest Merlin 388.1_0 installed on RT-AX86U. After update to this latest version I expected a regular network drop down during high load. It happens when: Copying huge amount of data from shared resource (HDD connected to USB 3)...

Unbound Forwarding specific domains in Unbound

It is a key and an answer. Too bad no one can answer in details.

Unbound Forwarding specific domains in Unbound

Hi all. One of my providers uses local resources *.provider.name to be used for forums, iptv, file share etc: there are www.provider.name, iptv.provider.name, forum.provider.name etc It is not possible to resolve such domains as they are not global. Yes, I can use DNS Director to forward...

Entware Entware update fail: libattr cannot be downloaded

Maybe it sounds surprising but I can read and I did run opkg update before writing the post about the issue.
