Loading config is not an issue, but loading jffs backup (even empty!) causes an issue. Taking into account few reports about problems with loading jffs I suspect the problem is inside.

I can confirm it: latest Entware Transmission 4.0.3-2 crashes and the only fix is to set "dht-enabled": false, in /opt/etc/transmission/settings.json I am pretty sure the problem is in libdht. Hope it will be updated in a near time.

Yup I've got it. Put # sign at the end of each entry and after restart of dnsmasq looks like the problem gets solved. However I still wonder why YazDHCP didn't removed them automatically during installation.

After numerous tests seems the problem is cause by firmware itself (and of course by some of my settings). The best solution was a dirty revert to Merlin RT-AX86U_386.7_0/ All following versions seems affected.

I don't get your question :) Firmware can both break and fix. It's normal situation. Yes, one can factory reset and then restore all settings from backup - but it makes factory reset meaningless as all possible problems will restore also. Moreover some settings are not backed up in a file - so...
