Lenovo notebooks connect to 802.11g only instead of 802.11n

I wouldn't want to buy a new LTE router. A WiFi card is cheaper, but how can I be sure that a different WiFi card will work with that router? It is a bit scary that this notebook is not compatible with any router. The above should all have another level of quote. I was referring to the wifi...

    ASUS ExpertWiFi EBG15

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this stuff outright.

    Replacing AC68U

Right, but apples to apples, 100/100 fiber would typically have more latency than 1000/1000 fiber, at least to the point the traffic goes out-of-network (hits the Internet). Granted, the bulk of the hops while gaming must certainly be "out there" anyway, but latencies are additive. And...

    Replacing AC68U

I know what you're saying, but latency is inherently somewhat inversely proportional to bandwidth, no? I can see the valid preference, but duckduckgo returns a lot of info when searching for "sfp+ 10Gb", including one from amazon for $40. Whether that'll work with a 2.5Gb port, for example, or...

    AX86U Pro vs AX88U vs AXE7800

Then the difference between the GT and 88 Pro is the former has an additional USB port (and requires less shelf space, but its antennas are more garish - but it gots AURA LEDs!).

Solved GT-AX11000 drops WAN connection / crashes every 6-36 hours

I have no idea how you've set up the mechanism to do so. I merely wondered if there might be a correlation, which could be a convenient place to start debugging.

Solved GT-AX11000 drops WAN connection / crashes every 6-36 hours

Does it ever happen on or about the time your data is being saved every 12 hours?

Asus XT8 DHCP issue with Windows clients

Have you "forgotten" (or whatever term MS uses) the network connection on the Windows boxes, then "set them up" again?

Is it a good or bad idea to split SSIDS?

Speaking of calling, @L&LD I've got to say up front I'd never ever considered spending $400 on a freakin' phone, but "Motorola" dropped their price to that (and Lenovo followed suit, eventually) on the "Think Phone". My wife, bless her heart, told me to get one. Now I'm telling you: get one...

Best Omada APs for Gigabit ethernet network and sub-gigabit WAN

2(antennas)x2(streams)@80(MHz bonded channels, typical)=1201, 2x2@160 (or 4x4@80)=2402, 4x4@160=4804. Didn't peruse the 2.4GHz specs, and you certainly won't have any such clients individually capable of a 4x4 connection anyway, but if you opt for one or more APs which are so capable in that...

    AX86U Pro vs AX88U vs AXE7800

Seen it happen many times where the end of the period is approaching so management forces overtime to be able to ship extra orders from /next/ period, then when next period starts there's no work readily available. So they paid half again as much for labor to make the product, then they lose...

    RT-AX88U Pro Hardware revision changes?

Heck, they're probably "better" than the replacement anyway, that is if the hardware change wasn't due to some previously-unnoticed problem with it. I'd initially guess it was more of a cost-effective (and/or supply chain) driven change...

    Buying advice GT-AX6000 vs GT-AX11000

Not familiar with the 11000, but whichever, if only one has a 2.5Gb LAN port to feed the other, should be the "master".

    ASUS Unveils RT-BE88U WiFi 7 Dual-Band Router

It gots MLO! Mainly, it saves cost on the case / antennas since that's already paid for. I'll bet it works very well. What's the MSRP?

    AX86U Pro vs AX88U vs AXE7800

Perspective. $ per day incoming is /one/ (the "easy") metric, but actually informing and helping customers is another which helps ensure future $. Gotta be cheaper in the long term than the cost of advertising, but I guess nobody's looking further than their computer screen anymore.
