conflict with dnsmasq and manually assigned IPs using the DHCP server?

Thanks. As I am sure you know, the apache vhosts handle the dnsmasq redundancy. Once that redirect hits the server Apache will send the request to the proper directory. Without those directives the different urls will go to the default /www/public_html/ directory at 192.168.1.21 It's just so I...

conflict with dnsmasq and manually assigned IPs using the DHCP server?

I started out with a several questions. In writing this post, I answered a couple of them myself. The remaining question is; Am I creating an IP conflict by having the same IP in both configurations: dnsmasq.conf.add and DHCP servers tab? I have about a dozen manually assigned IPs using the...

    lan connectivity problems 384.3 RT-AC68U

Thanks for solving my networking problem -- that in the end is a hardware issue in my server. Probably the network adapter. Wiggling that cable seems to crash the lan and the server. I'll take care of the hardware issue. No need to continue here. Thank you. :)

    lan connectivity problems 384.3 RT-AC68U

Your last post is spot-on! I have a switch in another room. I replaced it and all seems to be well. It could be one of the cables or connections and the swapping out took care of it. Or it could be the old switch. Every light on the replacement switch blinks in unison about every second...

    lan connectivity problems 384.3 RT-AC68U

Thanks I was looking for that kind of direction: IP address is dead as well. That was the first thing I checked. nslookup from the windows terminal reports back on all the dnsmasq domains. Though I have already restarted dnsmasq from the terminal on the router. I had also flushed the...

outgoing traffic blocked asus rt-ac68u merlin

Hi. Just setting up this router. All basic settings so far. I have an ubuntu server on a static ip. All outbound traffic from the server is blocked. Am I missing a setting? The only things I changed from the standard: I have created a /jffs/configs/dnsmasq.conf.add firewall is turned off...
