Aha...could be. I'll upgrade and disable this "feature" to see if it resolves my issues.

I think this 380.66 might be the cause for my chromecast audios going haywire. They appear and disappear randomly. I just downgraded to 380.65_4 and everything seems normal again.

I just built 380.65 beta 1 locally and my RT-5300 immediately got an IPv6 address after installing.

Changing the client is works for me as well.

alpha 3 does not fix this issue for me (not sure if it was supposed to, but it sounded like BMWDude got an IPv6 address with it?

Restarting the dhcp service doesn't get me an IPv6 address.

Are you saying that cloning the mac address to the one from your AC68U is allowing it to get an IPv6 address?

Here's the log on startup. I only see the start of a dhcp6 transaction, but nothing else. I'm on comcast and used to get IPv6 but I don't now. I've also swapped out my SB6183 with a Netgear CM600 modem and that did not fix the issue. I'm pretty certain it's the AC5300. Note: I x'd out the...

I just did this on my AC5300, but it didn't seem to put anything into the syslog.log after reboot.

I'm still experiencing issues with my computers often losing local name resolution after a day or so. Only rebooting the router will fix it. Did you ever find a fix?
