    Release RT-BE92U Firmware Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_37523-g25e34fa_1096-gff526 03/27/2025

Well, if you ever decide to try different routers, if you can't get this setup stable, Someone mentioned on one of these firmware threads that the Zen WiFi 7 stable mesh system was more stable for mesh. Hopefully you won't have to go through all that to fix this, but putting it out there, so...

    Release RT-BE92U Firmware Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_37523-g25e34fa_1096-gff526 03/27/2025

Hopefully that will help. I did the reset several times, and made sure I was up to date on firmware before getting rid of this router after I encountered the issues, I wasn't able to resolve.

    Release RT-BE92U Firmware Firmware version 3.0.0.6_102_37523-g25e34fa_1096-gff526 03/27/2025

Did you try the latest firmware in this thread? https://www.snbforums.com/threads/asus-rt-be92u-firmware-version-3-0-0-6-102_37563.95067/. Also might want to do a hard reset with the WPS button after the update on both units to make sure of a clean start. 1. Power off the router 2. While...

    ASUS RT-BE92U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37563

What happened with me was somewhat opposite. I had initial issues with the defaults, and after changing settings + firmware updates things got better. Then the problem I wasn't able to solve with this router came up even after a hard reset, and latest firmware, I just couldn't resolve it...

    ASUS RT-BE92U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37563

In my case, every Asus router I've gotten has had issues out of the box with at least lights, or plugs. The RT-AX86U was worse, and then it got better over time as Asus matured the firmware. Initially I was an Airport user as I've primarily been an Apple use until the last few years where I've...

    ASUS RT-BE92U Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_37563

I wonder if Asus finally turned this into a stable router, it seems like the frequently returned notice on amazon is gone, but I still see negative reviews on it. I got rid of mine because of the issues I ran into, that I couldn't resolve with certain iOT devices on my network that had either...

I remember reading through the thread. I just wanted to follow up with providing feedback. Let u know how it goes after getting the BE86U.

Asus RT-AX86U error: acs_start eth7 cannot select chanspec with the wrong info

Since I haven't seen activity here for a while, I'm going to assume the problem was resolved. However, in the event it hasn't been, here is a clip from my RT-AX86U's system log this morning from the latest firmware: I did not notice any of the reported messages reported above. Jun 24 22:36:56...

Asus RT-AX86U error: acs_start eth7 cannot select chanspec with the wrong info

I have an AX86U with firmware version: Version 3.0.0.4.388_24339 on it (latest version on the support site). I don't have any AIMesh nodes, and before I changed routers, I wasn't having any random disconnects, so I had no reason to look at logs. Should I fire it up at some point as the main...

Solved Some updates on the issues that developed with my BE92U

Thanks, I feel good about it finally paying off. Since I don't have a lot to do during the day right now, because of my reasons listed above, not being able to go out and do much on my own because of location, I thought the upgrade would be a fun project to learn form and keep busy. I just...

Solved Some updates on the issues that developed with my BE92U

Here is a screenshot of a speedtest run this morning. Because there have been ongoing outages, and upgrades in the area the upload speed doesn't go over the rated speed current, but it does get into the normal range of the 100 Mbps upload for the 1G package. When everything in the Cox network...

Solved Some updates on the issues that developed with my BE92U

That was my whole point of apologizing. I usually don't need to ask for help. I usually can do my research and be pretty confident things will work out, so that's why I apologized for dragging everyone else into this. You're right about warning about the BE92U router, as far as the modem I was...

Solved Some updates on the issues that developed with my BE92U

Well it was supposed to be a very simple upgrade. I didn't count on things going as out of wack as they did. The two main things, get rid of the modem rental fee from Cox and be in charge of my own modem. Upgrade the router and Ethernet port on the computer to be able to try faster speeds to...

Solved Some updates on the issues that developed with my BE92U

Well part of it was on Cox's end and part of it was on my end, and if I had realized it sooner, I could have saved time and money. What ended up happening in a recap, was this: I've had a gigabit connection for years, and I was just using the built in gigabit port on the computer. After...

Solved Some updates on the issues that developed with my BE92U

I was able to go back to the 1gig plan. it's finally stable and with the 2.5 G upgrade I get about 1.2 G to the computer now over the 940 Mbps cap. The only reason I'm not going to pay for the 2 G plan is because it's too much over 1 G for only having 100 Mbps up as well. If Fiber was an option...
