    AC88U Cool Mount

Cool Mount! I wasn't too pleased that my AC88U didn't have the T-slots for screw heads. I don't know if my particular unit was a tooling snafu or if that feature has been discontinued. But, on Amazon, I found some people who also were wanting to mount their unit and they couldn't as well. So...

    AC88U Alert Preference

I have recently purchased and am using an Asus AC88U. I am fairly happy with it. I may have run into an impasse. It seems that I cannot have notifications sent to me without a Google or AOL account. The other two options seem a bit concerning as I believe they are both Chinese. I don't want...

use the N66U as a Plain Old Switch?

Well, here is where I ended up: When I went to put the router in AP mode, it complained about my key. It gave me the requirements, but I have the correct number of characters; not too many; not too few. So, after fretting over that, I restored back to the last known good. While in 'Wireless...

use the N66U as a Plain Old Switch?

To be sure, I am going from a LAN port on the AC88U to the WAN port on the N66U; correct? If so, what WAN option should I choose? I know that I don't want POE, but what about PPTP or L2TP? Should I assign a hard IP to the WAN on the N66U?

use the N66U as a Plain Old Switch?

Well after fiddling with numerous settings, I've finally got the N66U appearing in my AC88U's client list. But, I have no internet from the laptop connected to the N66U. I also do not have a ping to the www from the N66U. I am stuck like chuck!

use the N66U as a Plain Old Switch?

I have been attempting to use my N66U as a bridge to my AC88U, but no success. Someone in another thread indicated that the bridge mode has been broken for over a year. http://www.snbforums.com/threads/attempting-bridging-n66u-to-ac88u.33811/ I not really eager, but am contemplating running...

    (attempting) Bridging N66U to AC88U

I am attempting to set up a bridge mode access pretty much as displayed in the picture below. There are other things connected to the mother ship; the AC88U, but currently only the Dell Laptop is connected to the bridge; the N66U. I have attempted this about 5 times throughout the week...

Yes, that works. I was closing the window, but closing ALL browser windows is the answer. Thanks so much.

Logon is automatic - Don't want

Update: I have firefox set to NOT remember passwords for this site, but that still doesn't help. Once I log in, it remembers and auto logs on. The only way that I can force a logon is to delete the history file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Logon is automatic - Don't want

Hello. I have put a user name and password into my RT-N66U. After working in it for a session, I log out. However, the next time that I access it via the IP from my local machine, it just gives me access without requiring the logon information. How can I change it so that it requires a logon...
