Thank you. I ended up doing a Cloudflare tunnel, which was a lot easier to implement. I did all the reserve proxing on the Cloudflare side and it just worked. Didn't have ot open any ports on the router.

Yes, I reset the router to factory defaults.

What worked for me was doing a factory reset. Haven't had any Nest problems since then. I was using pretty much the default settings anyway so I don't know why that worked.

Thanks for your response. Yes, I changed the SSID and password when I upgraded. I have separate 2.4 and 5 ghz SSIDs and wanted to make it more human friendly by using just one. Still wondering if that was the right move.
