That is cheap, I will let him know.
For now, I disabled the wifi on the boxes and reset everything.
Now it is all working as intended. The sky boxes are connected stable AND my iphone and laptops are no longer cycling between wifi and 4G!
It has definitely made a big improvement to the wifi...
I have hard wired to the sky modem instead of the asus router. Tried both ways made no difference so left them in sky modem.
I will disable the wifi from both sky q boxes and report back. It’s my bro in-laws house and doesn’t want to spend if it can be avoided

Have now run wired connections to both the sky main box and the mini box. They connect and keep disconnecting the internet connection.
Also on a macbook air it sometimes gets an error saying the associated ip is in use on another device.
I also notice my iphone sometimes cycling from wifi to...
One box wouldn’t reach so I paired it with a Sky Booster that the engineer left behind. I’m on way to screwfix to pickup 100m Cat6 and connect my sky boxes by ethernet + remove the booster... but I feel the issue with the 5300 might be something else.

My initial setup:
ISP: Sky
Modem: Sky Hub
Router: RT-AC5300 (wired to modem)
Mesh Node: RT-AC68U (wireless -58dBm)
Additional: Sky Booster (wireless)
WiFi was OK in most parts of the property but still struggled to get Sky TV working in some additional rooms.
I have now moved the 68U and...
My 5300 is on the latest Merlin FW. Would you still recommend getting a standalone modem for the job or do you think it’s ok to let the 5300 handle the modem job too?
I have allowed remote access on both my setups. For VPN, do I need to purchase some IP’s? I have 22 dedicated IP’s I have been...
I have setup an RT-AC5300 and whilst I can login with 192.168.1.1 it doesn’t show me the WAN IP for remote access.
WAN IP: 192.168.xx.xx
Why is this? How to fix it?

But they show at the same time? At my other home, i never see such issues. Maybe the node is too close to main router? Connection quality is -55dBm

It’s showing Jays iPhone and Adheels iPhone as being connected to the main router (RT-AC5300) and connected to the mesh node (RT-AC68U) and the IPs are different.

My setup:
ISP: Sky Broadband 30Mbps fibre
Modem: Sky Hub 3.0 (Modem Mode)
Routers: GT-AC5300 + RT-AC68U (Meshed)
Please see screenshot. Some of our devices are showing as being connected to both routers at the same time. The IP addresses are showing differently.
Not sure why this is...
Ah got it, ok i think it’s safe to say it won’t be included. I’ve got two RP’s now so I’ll make use of these until something cheap pops up.
Is there a list where I can see all mesh compatible devices?

My setup:
ISP: Sky 50Mbps fibre
Modem: Sky Hub 3.0
Router: RT-AC5300 + RT-AC68U (mesh)
I need to add 2-3 more nodes. I purchased an RP-AC68U and was told it can be meshed.. is this true?
Currently doing the firmware upgrade as I couldn’t see the option for it.
