Like I said, I already have a modern and more professional device, Mikrotik ax2. But I’m using the ASUS until the bug mentioned is fixed. The 10yo ASUS Managing 1Gb fiber service with a triple vlan setup, internet voip and TV, runs solid.

My unit is running now latest stock firmware, using the Movistar Triple VLAN profile, and using about 30% of Ram. I have a Mikrotik ax2, but waiting for their support team to fix a bug that affects igmp so the TV.

I updated to .14 on my RT-AC68U (A1 Rev) a week ago Noticed that viewing my ISP IPTV service (Movistar Spain using the built-in profile for Movistar Triple VLAN) sometimes the image is pixelated. They are fast, image doesn't cut, but never noticed that on previous versions.

I’m really happy with it, but struggling because was suffering cuts while watching live TV channels using the Movistar Wifi TV Decoder. I’m investigating what can be causing this. Using the Asus there are no issues.

You mean the ax2?

Yes, I know. Like the Mikrotik when correctly configured. I meant about more specific settings that maybe the Asus do, so the TV service works flawlessly, when I suffer these cuts and pixelation with the Mikrotik.

SOLVED! Tested with another 5e cable I have and now it’s 1Gbps. Download now is about 570Mbps and upload 520Mbps. It’s not the 620 I had with direct cable but it’s good.
