Yeah I'm seeing the same. I'm still on 0.0.2, haven't updated to the latest yet.

I've turned QOS off. I wasn't sure if the FreshJR script still runs though.

    [RT-AC86U] I built cake!!!

Just tried that. Unfortunately, it still doesn't appear to start at start-up. Not a massive problem though, I can start it manually easily enough :) Edit: Should I still be using the FreshJR script when using cake?

    [RT-AC86U] I built cake!!!

Thank you for this. I've managed to get Cake QOS on my AX-88U and it seems to work well. Only thing, which is know doubt down to me, it doesn't appear to start at start-up. The only thing I wasn't sure how to do was the chmod a+rx parts? I can manually start it though.

    [RT-AC86U] I built cake!!!

I'm using a AX-88U. I think I have Entware installed, it shows up in amtm. This is the error I get: admin@RT-AX88U-5378:/tmp/home/root# opkg install sched-cake-oot_2020-05-28-a5dcc fd8-1_aarch64-3.10.ipk Collected errors: * wfopen: sched-cake-oot_2020-05-28-a5dccfd8-1_aarch64-3.10.ipk: No such...

    [RT-AC86U] I built cake!!!

This is probably a daft question but what do you use to do the first 2 steps? And where do the files go? I've used WinSCP to upload the files to the router and then tried running the install commands with Putty but I just get an error. But I don't know if I'm doing it correctly.

ASUS RT-AC86U Dual Band AC2900 Wireless Router Reviewed

Thanks. If I remember correctly, it seemed to be coming from the wifi chipset. At least when I turned the wifi off with the button on the side, it went silent. Turn it back on, instantly started whining. Got another one coming today, hopefully it’s silent. Edit: It’s arrived and this one is...

ASUS RT-AC86U Dual Band AC2900 Wireless Router Reviewed

Does anyone’s AC86u make a high pitched whining sound? I’ve bought 3 of these over a couple of months from Amazon UK and each one has made this noise. It’s really annoying, so each one was sent back. Just wondering if I was just really unlucky or they all make the noise?
