    RT-AX88U very warm

It went up to 97c at idle last night so I pulled it and put in the old router. BHPhoto gave me an RMA and prepaid Fedex to exchange it. I hope the next one is cooler.

    RT-AX88U very warm

Thankyou. I did that and I find it interesting that the stock firmware doesnt allow you to look at the temps.

    RT-AX88U very warm

I have a very new AX88U and the cpu temperature is rather high at idle. The two radios are 48c and 51c. But the cpu is always at 90-95c at idle. The room temp is 70f and it has plenty of room for airflow. I dont want to take it apart to reapply thermal grease as that will voic the warranty. Will...

RT-AC3100 Issues with Imac OS downloads.

I have an RT-AC3100 on version 384.19. It has been running for about 3 years with no issues. A few days ago I set up a new Imac24 M1. I was on Macos Big Sur 11.3. I started the update for OS11.4 and it would download about half of the file and then hang or die with no error messages. The file...

Potential fix for iOS devices sucking up BW - iptables fix - need testing

Been down all those roads before and not really willing to revisit them. I know what the issue is for my devices and I have a fix that works for me.

Potential fix for iOS devices sucking up BW - iptables fix - need testing

I had these stored in my bookmarks from when I first started researching this problem. http://www.cio.com/article/3034515/consumer-electronics/photos-apple-s-bandwidth-hog-from-hell.html http://tidbits.com/article/15679...

Potential fix for iOS devices sucking up BW - iptables fix - need testing

Well....you are a lucky one then. A lot of people experience issues with the upstream bandwidth being completely saturated when the devices are syncing or backing up photos especially. When that happens it causes the link to effectively go down because no other upstream traffic can get out. So...
