amcfwm - AsusWRT-Merlin Custom Firmware Manager

not useless. Thank you for building it. That being said, with all the scripts and tools here I never enable any of the trend micro stuff. Unbound + Suricata + Skynet etc. So building your own is still a nice option.

amcfwm - AsusWRT-Merlin Custom Firmware Manager

Just now during the 386 integration work? or is this true for past builds of 384 mainline or ax branches before? Do you have separate steps to get bwdpi working on your releases which are not part of amcfwm? Thank you.

Suricata Suricata - IDS on AsusWRT Merlin

It takes up to an hour to show up in the stats currently. If you see it in the fast.log, then you tested it. Logs are scraped hourly at 13minutes past.

Suricata Suricata - IDS on AsusWRT Merlin

i am away for a week and didn’t have time to post more. can try by grabbing three files from here: Github you want to place the files suricata_log.sh, suricata_stats.sh and suricatastats_www.asp in a folder /jffs/addons/suricata. then chmod +x the two scripts and...

    Release [ 384.19_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

I had an issue with my AX88U, nt_center and jffs2_gcd_mtd9 where spinning each taking 25% (or one core maybe). Web login didn't work. Had been doing dirty upgrades and was running .17 for months solid. Did an nvram erase and got back and up, but soon again those two processes were spinning...

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

Finally got around to playing with dnsmasq disable command. Not quite sure about having a one time import, but will see. I do have some entires that look like this: 85511 xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx 192.168.x.xxx * * These end up creating a *.<domain> mapping inside unbound. Anyone else see that?

No harm is setting them directly. Even if the other options turn them on. Typically those would al be set by turning on logging and scribe. Personally I do not enable log-queries as it is just extra logging which isn’t needed for the stats.

Standard as @Martineau ships in his file. 1 thread, 2 slabs, etc.

I see what you mean now. I usually use the vertical view which doesn't have bottom labels and I hover to see the values. Seems the graphing library drops some of the labels to make it readable, but if you hover over them you can see still the missing groups. This may explain the question you...

Unbound unbound_manager (Manager/Installer utility for unbound - Recursive DNS Server)

    I guess the memory size is a guideline and not a hard rule. After 44 days of running: unbound Memory/Cache: 'key-cache-size:' 8388608 (8.00 MB) 'msg-cache-size:' 8388608 (8.00 MB) 103% used 8669405 (8.27 MB) 'rrset-cache-size:' 16777216 (16.00...

Just add this domain to the allowhosts file under /opt/share/unbound/config Then regenerate or wait for 5am.

This would need to be proposed to the unbound dev team. I just get the stats from them and this is how they bucket it. This isn’t really inefficient. It is actually quite a simple and efficient way to provide large metric and unbound is built for scale. What part bothers you about the scale?

Those are how unbound buckets the results. It is an exponential method they use to grow the buckets, agree.

Those logs are normal. One is the DNS Firewall updates and the other is for log scraping to build stats. You do not logging enabled to it isn’t finding any data. No harm.

    [384.18_Alpha Builds] Testing all variants

In Canada it seems that since 2017 the lower 5ghz was allowed the same power as 149+ https://www.semfionetworks.com/blog/5ghz-regulations-in-canada-2018-update#:~:text=In%20May%202017%2C%20ISED%20published,outdoor%20with%20a%20higher%20power.
