Agreed. It may also happen with devices that connect wirelessly, and at other times via ethernet, such as computers.

Could your DHCP Lease Time be the culprit, being set too low?

Agreed, you should be able to map the USB drive as a network drive on a computer, and if your OneDrive is syncing to that computer, you can then use FreeFileSync or anything similar to sync the two.

Parental Controls have not been removed, they are just somewhat hidden. On the main screen, click on the computer icon on the client box, and it opens a list of the clients on the right side. Then click on a device, and a screen will open giving you the option of toggling time restrictions...

Why not just use the Guest Network feature built into the Asus/Merlin firmware?
