2.4Ghz Auto Control Channel selection issues

Hi, I realize this is an old thread but it seem like the right place to post this... I've been using RT-AC68U for a while and recently switched to a RT-AC1900P and with either model on any of the last 4 different firmware versions I notice my 2.4Ghz will select channels like 2 or 4 (and jump...

    RT-AC68U / RT-AC68P / RT-AC1900 / RT-AC1900P

I just picked up an RT-AC1900P yesterday and they had two V3 and two B2 - I too went with the B2 on the premise that the newer firmware 3.0.0.4.380_3512 (even though this rev isnt listed on their website) must be a newer build. I did notice the stocking label on the outside of the shrink wrap...

    RT-AC68U New FW

Sorry I realize this a few days old now but I wasn't following the thread. If you look on support.asus.com you'll find it but it is also on www.asus.com/support now too. For some reason support.asus.com seems to be updated sooner so I always check there first.

    ASUS RT-AC68U Firmware version 3.0.0.4.378.3813

updated and the first glitch I found is trying to set time zone on the system tab - it defaults to central and I try to change to eastern and it acts like I don't have a user name and password... so I set that, but then it wants DST updated to save ~ and there is no way to update DST anyone...

    RT-AC68P

if you go to compare on ASUS site with AC68U the specs are virtually identical with the only difference being the omission of Linux OS support on the AC68P however, I don't think this is really providing anything useful since it says the package content is the same "RT-AC68U"! I wonder if...

Share What You Know: ASUS RT-AC3200 News, Release Date, Price and Expectations

for the past several days the link https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC3200 no longer displays any information about the AC3200 - it just redirects to the ASUS home page now

looks like ASUS has updated the photo on their website... https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC3200 previous photos had it looking more like the 87U. I like the vertical foot-print of the 68U so I'm hoping this is the style that ultimately comes out.

Asus RT-AC87R port forwarding not working?

had the same problem, sorry to say I did not find a fix... I just picked mine up yesterday but I am returning it. I'm sure ASUS will fix the port forwarding issue - but it should probably be reported to their official support so it gets recognized as an issue. I have an RT-AC68U and I was...

    AC68U, height with antennas?

11 3/4" if you have the antenna standing strait up... less if you angle them.

Weird problems with rt-ac68r (with Merlin or stock FW)

when you are performing your manual setup what kind of changes are you making? also when you say it drops wifi but the signal is strong - are you getting a bogus IP address by chance? i.e. on the device that cant connect, like an IP address that is not in your specific DHCP range on the router?
